March Madness is also Brain Injury Awareness Month

With approximately 1.7 million traumatic brain injuries occurring in the United States each year, access to medical treatment and disease management is critical. Millions of families live with the challenges that come along with brain injuries, and March is about recognizing and honoring their successes and struggles.

    I am not aware of any special grtnas for people with TBI.just regular financial aid, by filling out the FAFSA, which connects you with government backed-loans and grtnas, like any other student.Maybe there might be a scholarship through the local branch of the TBI association, but that’s all I can think of.
